How to Install dsyslog software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

dsyslog software package provides advanced modular syslog daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dsyslog

dsyslog is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dsyslog package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dsyslog *

You will get with dsyslog package name, version, architecture and description in a table
